You want your friends and family to be interested in acting ,the best thing is to not use anyone thats going to give you problems, as making a film is quite stressful . You need to list all the equipment and see if you have your own camera ,if not then borrow or buy as a camera is very important ,without camera it would be impossible to make a film . If you do not have a camera then don't worry you can rent one . Think out side the box ,if your neighbour has any props or owns a factory of some thing then ask if you can use it as a location .
