Concept art : is a form of illustration used to convey an idea for use in films, video games , animation , comic books , or other media before it is put into the final product.
Visualisation diagrams :A detailed drawing of what its going to look like ,lots of annotation, can be changed up on the way and thought the process of making it .
This is use full for one person to have an idea and get it across and a very quick and useful way of people working together
It also gives you a spring board and you can change it up on the way.
Flat plans: only with print documents , only for a magazines .Basically a plan for a magazine .
Prototypes :First versions of products to see if your product works .
Clark, these can most definitely be more detailed. Purely from a practical point of view you are describing/ writing about visual documents within pre-production, should you not have visual examples to go with this post?
