Why evaluation pre docs docs ?

Evaluating the effectiveness of pre production documentation is vital in ensuring that the final version that is sent to the production team is effective .

If documents arnt checked then they could be the cause of a major planning problem , so its important that the quality of the documents is evaluated .

The documents need to be considered in relation to :
  • Suitability of content for meeting the brief and the usefulness in aiding the production team.



They should use :
  • Positive language 
  • consideration for the original designer /creator.
This is a production schedule  it shows how many weeks a job/ task should take , its very clear as its colour coordinated and it says how many weeks a task should take so its very organised however if it wasn't colour coordinated then it wouldst be as easy to follow.










This is a flat plan /sketch , this is useful as it gives an idea of whats gonna be made , and what its going to look like .

    The evaluations you have given for both of the documents is very thin on the ground in terms of detail. Can you please add to this. Think about what it says in the PPT above. Remember you need to be using positive language when evaluating.

You want your friends and family to be interested in acting ,the best thing is to not use anyone thats  going to give you problems, as making a film is quite stressful . You need to list all the equipment  and see if you have your own camera ,if not then borrow or buy as a camera is very important ,without  camera it would be impossible to make a film . If you do not have  a camera then don't worry you can rent one . Think out side the box ,if your neighbour has any props or owns a factory of some thing then ask if you can use it as a location .
