budget of a film of your choice AVATAR

Avatar film budget :$237 million

  • The film Avatar was released in 2009 .
  • It was marketed by James Cameron.

  • Development of Avatar  began in 1994, when Cameron wrote an 80-page treatment for the film.

  • Filming was supposed to take place after the completion of Cameron's 1997 film Titanic, for a planned release in 1999.

  • Avatar was officially budgeted at $237 million. ,other estimates put the  cost between $280 million and  $310 million for production and at $150 million for promotion .

The artists of the film can make as much as the execuative producers ($1.2 million) and modelers and animators getting about (900 K) ,and the model makers make around (7k).

Also these sort of film create a lot of  jobs ,which means the unemployment level will decrease ,as there are so many department and so much effort that goes into making a film ,you need a lot of people .e.g (monsters inc university created 1,117 jobs)

  1. Again Clark, this has been entirely copied and pasted which is not going to help when you revise for your exam.
This is a research project that should take you approximately one hour. You need to find out the preproduction budget for 'Monsters Inc' and explain how it was divided up across preproduction.
